Shannon Lesley Kennedy grew up in Guelph, Ontario. She graduated from Gallaudet University, Washington, DC with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. She currently is working at Gallaudet University as an e-Learning Facilitator.

Jason Allaire Augustine grew up in the rural town of Hays, Kansas, northwestern of Kansas. He is going to attend George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, to complete his Computer Sciences degree.

After the wedding Shannon and Jason are hoping to relocate to a fabulous condo in Alexandria, Virginia.
